There is a shared garden with a
lemon tree and car parking is in a parking area below the
apartment
Location
The
town of Kas is on the site of the ancient Lycian city of Antiphellos, on
the southwest coast of Turkey, where the Aegean meets the Mediterranean.
The apartment is on the edge of town. It has
fabulous panoramic views of the Taurus mountains on three sides, the
sea, the Greek island of Kastellorizon (called Meis by the Turks), and
the harbour of Kas.
The apartment is close to everything
you need:
10 minutes walk to the centre of the
town and the harbour.
10 minutes walk to the bus and
dolmus (shared taxi) station.
10 minutes walk to the market on
market day (Friday).
10 minutes walk to the nearest beach (the
little pebble beach)
Several
water-front bars offer sun loungers free with the expectation of the
consumption of the odd drink. You can swim off the rocks.
The apartment is in a quiet
residential area above the town. It is next door to a traditional, old
Turkish villa. The street is pretty with bougainvillaea and Jacaranda
trees.
